Malcolm Donovan – To Where You Are

Malcolm Donovan - To Where You Are

“On a prayer, in a song
I hear your voice and
It keeps me hanging on
Raining down
Against the wind
I’m reaching out till
We reach the circle’s end
When you come
Back to me again.”

When You Come Back To Me Again
Lyrics by Garth Brooks and Jenny Yates

Peace of the heart

If half a century of living has taught me anything at all, it has taught me that

nothing can bring you peace but yourself.

Rest in Peace, my sweet Lacey J

In one of the stars I shall be living.

In one of them I shall be laughing.

And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing

when you look up at the sky at night.”

From The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Seamus Finbar – the gift that keeps on giving

I rescued and adopted Seamus Finbar in May of 2010 when he was 5 months old.  He was a puppy mill Golden who was confiscated from his owner along with several other puppies all kept in crates on her porch.  He was 10 lbs. underweight and had untreated demodectic mange.  At that point he had been transferred around to 5 different homes since his birth.  Despite all that he is an incredibly happy and now healthy boy who is still very much a puppy.  His older brother, Austin, would like him to be someone else’s Christmas present, LOL.  But they do love each other.
